CHAZ LYTLE BASEBALL
Helping Youth Become Better Players
A note
from Chaz.
Thanks
for coming to my web site. I want to start off by saying that baseball is
the greatest game God ever invented. With baseball the results don’t come over
night and it takes hard work and dedication to improve. I have had the pleasure
to learn the game from the greatest man and coach and the hardest worker I have
ever known, Rick Eckstein. I am proud to say that Rick and his brother
David are my friends and have kept a passion for this sport burning in me that I
cannot describe.
That passion is what I feel and what I want to teach the players I coach.
I have learned from the BEST and I will teach the BEST knowledge that Rick and
David have taught me.
I have played the game for many years in high school, college and with the Pittsburgh Pirates and there is only one man that I have always stuck with and learned the lessons of baseball and life from. Not a team of people, but one, and that man is Rick. As a coach I have to instill that trust and faith in my players and show them that the day to day consistency of proper hitting fundamentals are the only way to play this game at the highest level. No gimmicks, no tricks, just simple, sound instruction and advice will get that special player to the next level. I practiced and learned from that type of coach until the day I had to cry myself to sleep because I had to give up the game I loved since I was 6 years old. I will PROMISE that what my mentor has taught me will be exactly what I will teach to my up and coming students. It is exactly what Rick and I have taught in Winter Springs, Seminole and other schools in the county in the past 5 years. With these teachings, YOU WILL GET RESULTS. I am a man that will work my tail off for you and help you make the right decisions. My phone and e mail will be here for you always, whether it’s dealing with high school or college coaches, I will guide you on and off the field to help you and your parents make the right decisions regarding your baseball dreams. I will tell you about the right scout leagues when your kids are older and what he or she needs to do to have the biggest impact on the people that are watching them play.
For the beginning player, I will make the game so fun that they will never want to give it up. A child can learn more about life and themselves on the baseball field than anywhere else. I promise the parents of my younger players that we will keep the learning of the game very simple and they will enjoy the game and play it the proper way. For me, it is not about the money, but the smile on my player’s face when they hit the ball hard for the first time in a game and call me right after the game to describe it to me. That’s what it’s all about.
I thank
The Lord for his guidance in my day to day life and Rick Eckstein for his
unwavering support of me and my baseball dreams.
I would love to talk with you about your game. Let’s see what we can do to make
it better.
Thanks for you, the kids, and the game of baseball!
