Chaz and I first met in the summer of 2004 while playing in the Carolina League. Chaz was a member of the Lynchburg Hillcats of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, I was a member of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Atlanta Braves organization. Chaz and I were teammates on the 2006 St. Paul Saints that went to Japan and played other Japanese professional teams. While In Japan, Chaz and I were roommates and talked about hitting every chance we got. Chaz Lytle is one of the most knowledgeable hitters I've played with. Back in 2005 when Chaz and I were room mates, we discussed hitting every night for a week straight.
