CHAZ LYTLE BASEBALL

 Helping Youth Become Better Players

CHAZ LYTLE, a native of Sanford, FL has been working with area youth to improve their hitting and fielding skills for over 5 years.  As professional centerfielder with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, Chaz won the South Atlantic League Batting title in 2003 while with their Hickory, NC Club.  He was voted MVP of that team and the Lynchburg, VA franchise in 2005.  In his 6 year career, Chaz batted .295, striking out only 164 times our of 1390 at bats!  He also had 90 stolen bases during his professional career.  Prior to being drafted by the Pirates, Chaz was named to the All Southeast Conference First Team while playing for the University of Georgia where he honed his hitting skills with hitting coach Rick Eckstein.  While a Bulldog, Chaz batted .387 and set the school season record for hits with 109 base knocks and the record for steals with 31. Chaz is a graduate of Seminole High School where he batted .494 and was an All State Selection.

While injuries shortened Chaz’s professional baseball career, his passion for the game and working with area youth have inspired him to dedicate himself to expose kids to the proper fundamentals of baseball and increase their success and enjoyment of the game.

Chaz currently coaches some of central Florida's best high school prospects.  He also works with younger players to help develop their skills as they grow into a more competitive environment.  Whether your player is experienced or taking up baseball for the first time, Chaz Lytle focuses on the players enjoyment of the game while improving their odds for success through sound coaching of proper hitting and fielding techniques.
